“When the other person is hurting, confused, troubled, anxious, alienated, terrified; or “when he or she is doubtful of self-worth, uncertain as to identity, then understanding is called for. The gentle and sensitive companionship of an empathic stance… provides illumination and healing. In such situations deep understanding is, I believe, the most precious gift one can give to another” – Carl R. Rogers.
At certain points in life, we often confront daunting challenges that can impede our progress and mental health. We grapple with uncertainties and hurdles that make us feel lost without clear path forward.
The prospect of seeking therapy can be overwhelming. Through integrative and person-centered approach, I use variety of techniques from psychodynamic, cognitive, dialectical behavioural and family systems to collaboratively work toward therapeutic goals that foster personal growth in a warm, individualised, and culturally sensitive environment.
